Linen and Blue

Natural linen fabric drapery provides a common denominator to pull two adjacent rooms together with grace and simplicity. It's no wonder this is the fabric of choice today.
Note that the sofa and accessories in the family room, the dining room chairs, and all wall finishes were in place when we started the drapery design process.  I think we did well creating a well planned and executed look, don't you?

Castle Walls by Benjamin Moore and natural linen drapery.

The same linen fabric on a faux finished wall created using paint in alternating satin and flat.

The drapery fabric these two rooms is the same natural linen.  Amazing how different it looks with a contrasting wall color verses a tone on tone.  We changed the drapery hardware in the dining room to a  dressier look and scale than the family room trim wrought iron.

Simplicity, serenity, and a cohesive flow from one room to another.
The clients were delighted!
